NWCFL 2019/20 fixture list announced

The NWCFL have this morning announced the fixture list for the 2019/20 season, meaning West fans can now begin their cursory planning of the campaign ahead.

West both begin and end the season away – Eccleshall will be our hosts for the opener, while we’ll be the guests of Abbey Hulton United on the final day.

Local rivals Wythenshawe Town will be the first visitors to Brookburn Road on Tuesday 6th August, with each of our opening four home league fixtures taking place in midweek. Brad Cooke’s side will also spend the entirety of August Bank Holiday away, with trips to New Mills and Barnton making up our opponents.

West fans will have to wait until late September for their first taste of Saturday league action at Brookburn Road, with Stone Old Alleynians our guests on Saturday 21 September.

The two fixtures that every West fan will instantly be looking for are the South Manchester Derby matches against Maine Road: we play our Chorlton neighbours at home on Boxing Day (26 December) and away on Easter Monday (13 April).
