Match information: West v Cammell Laird 1907 – West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC

Match information: West v Cammell Laird 1907

Please read all of the information below before attending Monday’s game, and note kick-off is at 1pm.

West welcome Cammell Laird to The Step Places Stadium for a crucial festive clash.

Chris Rowley’s side lost their unbeaten league record at Ellesmere Rangers last weekend and are winless in their last four, but remain top of the First Division South and will look to redress the balance against the Cammells.

Cammell Laird (currently 15th) were edged out by Abbey Hey in their last game, but have only lost two of their last six as they look to winch themselves away from the relegation zone.

West were comprehensive winners when the sides met on the Wirral in September – Liam Delaney (2), Dontai Gabidon, Rhain Davis and Ben Elliott securing a 5-0 victory.

Important information

We will have a series of measures in place for this game to help keep people safe and relieve pressures on our volunteers.

The ground capacity will be capped at 500 paying supporters (adults, concessions and accompanying under-16s) in addition to season ticket and complimentary ticket-holders. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Season and complimentary ticket-holders are guaranteed entry, but please bring your ticket with you.

We will not be selling tickets in advance of the game – admission is on a first come, first served basis.

We encourage all supporters to take a lateral flow test before arriving at the ground. If you test positive, have COVID-19 symptoms or are supposed to be isolating, please do not attend.

If you are paying at the gate or buying refreshments, programmes or merchandise, use contactless payment or the correct change where possible.

The clubhouse and bar will be open, but there will be no seating available inside. Please wear a face covering while indoors and while buying items, unless exempt.

In addition, club staff will be:

  • enhancing cleaning, including sanitising mid-match;
  • reminding suppporters to keep a safe distance from others; and
  • managing entry into the clubhouse.

As always, thank you for your support.
