As West welcome AFC Liverpool back to Brookburn Road this Thursday, the club can now announce that the game will be free to all – with a donation to the club asked from those in attendance. This follows an earlier postponement of the fixture due to issues with our floodlights, and this decision has been taken by the committee to thank fans for their ongoing support and as an apology for that match cancellation last month.

Cash donations will be collected on the gate, with all funds going towards the considerable expenses related to the club. We appreciate that not everyone will be able to make a monetary contribution and look forward to welcoming to all who wish to make the journey down to Brookburn Road for our second home game in a week. West will be looking to make it 5 wins in a row and boost hopes of a top 10 finish, while our visitors are in desperate need of a win to help in their fight against relegation – so it is sure to be a fiercely contested fixture.
