West relegated from NWCFL Premier Division

Following the weekend’s results during the final round of games of the season, West Didsbury & Chorlton have been relegated from the North West Counties Football League Premier Division. Despite a late rally, the team fell 3 points short of their nearest rivals Padiham – although, with goal difference also being against West, this was more like 4 points.

The club expects to be in the NWCFL Division One South next season – although the constitution of each league will only be confirmed following the league’s Annual General Meeting in June. All and any updates will be publicised via our website and through social media.

All involved with the running of the club would like to thank those who have supported us throughout a trying season: without our community, this club would be nothing. We hope to see you back at Brookburn Road for the next campaign, when we hope to repay your loyalty with similarly excellent performances and results on the pitch.
