West and Dutch Uncles partner to launch new women’s away kit

West Didsbury & Chorlton are delighted to confirm a new sponsorship with local band Dutch Uncles which will see their name on the shirts of our women’s development squad.

Long time supporters Dutch Uncles have partnered with the club to provide the Women’s Development squad with an away kit for the next three seasons.  The Dev’s took to the field for the first time in September 2018 and play their football in Division Two of the Greater Manchester Women’s Football League. They currently sit in third place in the league having enjoyed a 3-2 win over Heyside on Sunday thanks to goals from Rachael Myers, Debs Wright and Anna Carson-Parker.

This is not the first time West have worked with Dutch Uncles, who launched their fourth album ‘O Shudder’ at a NWCFL League Challenge Cup tie in February 2014.  The partnership launched West into the national conscious as they appeared on BBC Radio 6 and leading music website NME.
