West welcome visitors from Staffordshire for the second time in four days as Abbey Hulton United make the trip to Brookburn Road.
Chris Rowley’s side will look to build on the momentum generated by Saturday’s 7-0 demolition of Alsager Town, West’s biggest-ever win in the NWCFL, and secure another three points that would close the gap to the all-important top four promotion places.
Abbey have endured a miserable start to the league season and go into this, their sixth fixture, still searching for their first three points. They can at least compare notes with West on their last game, a 5-0 defeat to Wythenshawe Town, but they maintain an interest in the FA Vase having beaten Shawbury United and Ashby Ivanhoe to reach the first round proper.
