Preview

Both sides come into this game in a similar vein of form and in similar positions in the league table, with West sitting in 7th place, whilst the hosts sit just below them in 9th place. With this in mind, the slightest moments could make the difference, in a match that both teams are desperate to win.

Chris Rowley’s side have been rampant away from home in their last two matches in the league, after they gained all six available points, scoring 14 goals and conceding just 1 in the process. In between those two league games they also saw two wins in cup competitions too, so they will be very keen to keep this good form going.

In the league, the hosts Padiham have not lost for five games and they have scored a large number of goals in the process too, without conceding too many. Just like West, they will be looking to build on this form and rise higher in the league table.

The last meeting between these teams was over three years ago and it ended in a 1-1 draw. If recent form is anything to go by then it seems that there is still not much separating these two sides.

With West’s last two away games in mind this one should be extremely entertaining, we can’t wait to see you there driving the lads on. Come on West!
