Nathan Soulby appointed West Women’s manager

West is delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Soulby as Women’s First Team Manager.

A familiar face at The Step Places Stadium, Nathan takes over the team after leading the Women’s Development Squad over the last two seasons.

With last season’s NWWRFL Premier Division cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis, Nathan can’t wait to get started in his new role and for the new campaign to get up and running when it’s safe to do so.

Commenting on his appointment, Nathan said: “It’s a real honour to be appointed as First Team Manager at West, and I’m delighted to extend my stay here after a couple of seasons with the Development Squad. It’s a special club, that’s obvious to anyone who’s been to Brookburn Road, and the potential to develop within the women’s section alone is huge.

“This has probably been my most challenging period as a coach given the current circumstances, but we’ve had many positive conversations with the players and the newly assembled coaching setup ahead of our return. As a collective, we are ready and raring to get started and striving to make a real impact on the NWWRFL Premier Division when it is safe to do so.”
