West will look to continue their unbeaten run on Tuesday night as Hanley Town make a first visit to Brookburn Road.

The dramatic 2-1 win at Squires Gate on Saturday was West’s third game without defeat, a run which has winched Steve Settle’s side eight points clear of the relegation zone. West could climb as high as 12th with victory over Hanley, which would also avenge January’s 6-2 defeat in Staffordshire.

For Hanley, Tuesday’s game will be a quick return to M21. They hammered Maine Road 8-2 at Brantingham Road on Saturday, setting their record NWCFL score in the process. That was their third win in four games, and they remain within touching distance of the promotion spots – 11 points off second-placed Widnes, with four games in hand on the Halton side.
