? West v Alsager Town
? Macron Cup second round
? Saturday 9th November 2019, 3pm
? Brookburn Road, Chorlton, M21 8FE
? £5 adults / £3 concessions / free for under-12s
After a brief soujourn in the league, West return to cup action with the Macron Cup visit of Alsager Town – the first of the visitors’ two visits to M21 this month.
The Bullets visit Brookburn Road in the league on 26th November, but first comes a knockout tie with both sides looking to get back on the winning trail.
West’s goalless draw at home to Cheadle Heath Nomads last Saturday will go down as a point gained with Brad Cooke’s side playing with ten men for an hour, but West will be looking to correct a run of one win in the last six games.
Alsager, meanwhile, are winless in five and were pegged back by a last-minute equaliser when they drew 2-2 at St Martins last weekend. They have slipped to 14th in the table and will be targeting a morale-boosting win before a crucial pair of games against fellow bottom-half-dwellers Barnton and New Mills.
