Our men’s First Team now know what the opening month of the NWCFL First Division South 2021/22 season has in store, after the league published its initial fixture list.

We begin with two away games – firstly opening the season in Cheshire against Alsager Town on Saturday 31st July, before making the short trip to Woodley to face Stockport Town on Monday 2nd August.

Depending on our involvement in the FA Cup, Saturday 7th August could see West’s first home game of the season, with New Mills scheduled to visit The Step Places Stadium.

A quick return to Stockport follows on Saturday 14th August as we head to Cheadle Heath Nomads, before welcoming Barnton to M21 on Tuesday 17th August.

We then make a first visit to one of the NWCFL newcomers, Stafford Town, on Saturday 21st August.

The first phase of fixtures ends with a mouth-watering August Bank Holiday weekend. An eagerly-anticipated trip to FC Isle of Man is pencilled in for Saturday 28th August, before we host Maine Road in an early instalment of the South Manchester Derby the following Monday, 30th August.
