As a community club, we’re pleased to reveal that our clubhouse is being used as part of a cookery course by Bounceback Food this evening (11th September) and next week (18th September). As part of their ethos, Bounceback allocates a space to the community for each ticket sold, and as such have spaces available for their course for people referred to them from a third sector organisation free of charge. If you work for an organisation and would like to refer someone, please get in touch using the form at the bottom of this post, or find out more about the course below.
On our Eat Well for Less course you’ll learn how to cook 4 healthy recipes from scratch in a friendly, supportive learning environment. We welcome people of all ages and ability – no previous cooking experience is required. Our experienced course tutors provide hands on support and accommodate all learning needs. All required ingredients and equipment are provided! The course takes place in the facilities at West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC.
Signing up to Eat Well for Less benefits the local community too: your ticket also funds a free place on the course for someone referred to us from a local third sector organisation. Our ‘buy one, give one’ model ensures that all members of the community can take part in our cooking courses – we hope you can join us too!
Please note: Purchasing a full programme Eat Well for Less ticket enables you to attend both 2 hour workshops that make up this course. The dates and times are as follows:
-> Workshop 1: Wednesday 11th September, 19:00 – 21:00
-> Workshop 2: Wednesday 18th September, 19:00 – 21:00
You will learn 2 healthy recipes per workshop, so 4 in total. We look forward to welcoming you on our Eat Well for Less course!
