RECREATION GROUND | BROOKBURN ROAD | CHORLTON | M21 8FE
by Rob McKay · 08/06/2018
West Didsbury & Chorlton are delighted to confirm a price freeze on admission prices for the 2018/19 Hallmark Securities Football League season.
Individual Ticket Prices
Following a meeting of the clubs committee earlier in the week it was confirmed that admission would remain unchanged for the sixth consecutive season. Ahead of the new look 20-team Premier Division supporters will continue to gain entry for just £5 for adults, £3 concessions (Over-60s, and 13-16 year olds) and FREE for under-12s accompanied by an adult.
Chairman Glyn Meacher said of the announcement; “We’re delighted that we can continue to make watching our football club as affordable as possible for as many people as possible.”
“We’re very fortunate as a football club that the continuing increase in the number of people coming to watch us and the unprecedented crowds we saw at Brookburn Road last season has allowed us to keep as many of the prices the same despite the increasing costs of running a football club.”
“As a club we strive to continue to be an ever increasing part of the local community as [away from the first team] we grow our presence in junior and women’s football as well as supporting a variety of local causes. We have always endeavored to promote an ethos of inclusivity throughout our football club and our supporters are at the forefront of that philosophy.”
Season Ticket Prices
Due to the reduction in games (from 22 down to 19) as a result of the reduction of teams from 23 down to 20 the club can confirm season ticket prices have been adjusted accordingly. Adult season tickets will receive the league maximum discount, a saving of three league games, as tickets for the 18/19 season will be priced at £80. Concessions will be priced at £45 with under-12s season tickets FREE when purchased with an adult season ticket.
Due to competition rules this will include LEAGUE GAMES ONLY.
Details for how you can purchase your 2018/19 season ticket will be unveiled in the new few days and will be on sale at the first pre-season friendly of the season when West host Ashton United on Saturday 14th July, 3pm KO, at Brookburn Road.
BAR PRICES
In addition, the club is also delighted to confirm that there will be a PRICE FREEZE on KROMBACHER for the
new season. The 2018/19 season will mark the sixth season in which the club has stocked its signature German lager with the price remaining unchanged since it was first introduced back in our maiden NWCFL campaign.
Due to increased costs there will be an increase to the price of real ales across the board as they join the guest ales priced at £3.50 from the beginning of pre-season. The price of Bulmers, the smaller lagers (Budweiser & San Miguel), soft drinks as well as tea & coffee will remain unchanged.
West kick off their 2018 pre-season campaign on Saturday 14th July at home to newly promoted National League North side, Ashton United, 3pm KO. Admission is £5 for adults, £3 concessions and FREE for under-12s accompanied by an adult.
