RECREATION GROUND | BROOKBURN ROAD | CHORLTON | M21 8FE
by Matthew Durrant · 02/07/2017
With the 2017/18 campaign now less than a month away, we’re pleased to be able to give a number of updates on season tickets.
Firstly, the club has been working closely with Penfold Pincher creator Lewis Currie to redesign the season ticket itself. Following consultation with the Supporters’ Club and the committee, the new design builds on the noted fan culture that has developed around Brookburn Road over the past few seasons – with the lyrics to a favourite chant taking over the back of the card. Supporters’ Club spokesman Matthew Britton said, “Lew is an incredible artist, and having him help out with certain bits over the last season has been an enormous help. His work on the fan club membership logo was amazing, and I think that the design he’s made for the season tickets is even better. Clear, crisp and using one of my favourite chants – it is a winner”.
You can see the design – in different colours for different price bands – below:
For those who have already received their 2017/18 Season Tickets in the old design, these will be replaced as soon as possible.
In addition, the club are now happy to confirm that season ticket holders will gain free entry to both of the club’s home pre-season friendlies, meaning any ST holders can watch fixtures against Atherton Collieries (8th July) and Trafford FC (22nd July). This means that holders will get access to 24 games overall this season.
