We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Sean Moscrop.

The 25 year old has made 43 appearances for Cheadle Town this season and joins us as the NWCFL Premier Division season approaches its climax.

Coming through Chester's youth set up, Sean won the NWCFL Premier Division title with Vauxhall Motors in the 2022/23 season.

Sean is delighted to join, telling us: "I’m really excited to get going. After speaking with Marshy and hearing about the club's aims, it was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. The club speaks for itself with the fan base and the quality of the squad. Hopefully I can help with the club's push for promotion and beyond."

West manager Paul Marshall is thrilled to bolster his ranks as the season comes to the crunch, telling us “I'm really pleased to have Sean on board. He's had a great season at Cheadle and was previously part of a good Vauxhall Motors team.

I’ve seen him play half a dozen times this season and he has always stood out in the centre of the pitch. He's one of my favourite players I’ve seen play for other teams in our league so far and is highly rated by anyone who has seen or played against him.

Sean has turned down a few good opportunities from other clubs this season so I am delighted to have him with us, and he's a fantastic footballer who will suit how we play.”

Sean is available for tomorrow’s trip to Ramsbottom United.
