We are proud to announce Paul Marshall as our new Men’s First Team Manager.

Paul’s most recent managerial role was at Cheadle Town, where he guided them to promotion from North West Counties First Division South in the 2022/23 season.

After graduating from the Manchester City academy, Marshall went on to play for clubs including Aberdeen, Walsall and Stockport County.

He told us, “I am delighted to be the new manager at West Didsbury & Chorlton. I’ve been a big admirer of the club for a long time.

“It’s a fantastic club and I’ve always really enjoyed the away trips when my old clubs have played here, I always remember the fans still singing in the 90th minute even when the result wasn’t going their way. That type of support can really spur a team on, and I intend to build a side that is going to be really competitive next season in a promotion push that will give the fans something to really cheer for. 

“Our recruitment has already begun, me and my staff are really looking forward to the new challenge and can’t wait for pre-season.”

I am confident he will bring a style of play that will achieve our ambitions and excite our fans.
