Preview
With six league games to play, the stakes couldn't be much higher as 4th placed Padiham travel to Brookburn Road.
West have played four away games since beating Pilkington in M21 three weeks ago, and a capacity crowd is anticipated ahead of this promotion six-pointer on home turf.
Visitors Padiham have been in exceptional form for several months now, and they haven't lost an away league game since November. They also haven't lost an away league match on grass all season, with their only defeats on the road coming at Lower Breck and FC Isle of Man.
Despite this, Padiham have had a difficult week by their own standards. Last weekend they were held 0-0 at Litherland, presumably with one eye on the semi-final of the Lancashire Challenge Trophy. The Storks were however dumped out following a 1-0 loss at NWCFL Division One North side Bacup Borough on Wednesday night.
The Storks have two former West players in their squad this season, but neither Kieron Molloy nor Gabriel Cole have appeared since early February.
Saturday's visitors tend to come out of the blocks quickly, with 50% of their goals this season coming inside the first 15 minutes of either half.
In terms of West's other NWCFL Premier Division rivals, 6th placed Irlam host Longridge Town while Chadderton are inactive this weekend having also played more games than any other side in the promotion picture.
