West make the short journey to Cheadle Town on Saturday. It's West's fourth away game in a row, and comes less than 48 hours after a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Lower Breck on Thursday night.
Hosts Cheadle Town are in an excellent run of form themselves, having won seven games in nine and remaining unbeaten during that whole period. That run has lifted Cheadle up to 9th place. Whilst the 12-point gap between the hosts and the playoff places gives them too much to do with only seven games remaining, Cheadle's recent form will set them up well for next season.
West remain in 5th place despite a fairly mixed run of recent form, and Cheadle have only picked up a single point this season against the division's top 5. They do have a better record on their travels than they do at home and, despite their good overall form, Cheadle have only won two of their last seven at the Ground Up Solutions Stadium.
The Cheadle Town players will be wearing shirts in the warm-up which honour the memory of West goalkeeper coach Stephen Piggott, who sadly passed away last month. Piggo is a legend at Cheadle Town and had a lengthy spell at the club. The hosts have confirmed that 15% of the ticket sales from Saturday's game will be donated to a GoFundMe page that they have set up in memory of Piggo. More information about this is contained on Cheadle Town's social media channels.

Cheadle Town were founded in 1961 as Grasmere Rovers. They moved to their Park Road Stadium in 1982 and changed their name to Cheadle Town the following year.
However, they have been better known in some parts of the world as Manchester AFC, a name used previously to attract attention and enter a number of high-profile tours across the globe. They are only team from the UK to play in - and against - Cuba, taking on the national side in a match broadcast live on Cuban television in 1975. They have since played pre-season friendly matches at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico and the Maracanã in Brazil.

West lost 1-0 on their trip to Cheadle last season. It was a poor match on a foggy October evening, and the hosts scored a deserved winner in second-half stoppage time.
