West will look to launch what would be a miraculous escape act when they welcome Squires Gate to Brookburn Road.
Hanley Town's midweek win at Irlam left West in a critical position, six points adrift of safety with five games remaining. With Hanley out of action this weekend, David Powell's side cannot afford any result other than a win against Gate if they are to maintain their hopes of Premier Division football next season.
Squires Gate, on the other hand, have enjoyed a comfortable season and look to be finishing strongly, losing only once in their last eight fixtures. They claimed a creditable point at 1874 Northwich last weekend as they aim to secure what would be a first top-ten finish since 2015.
West and Gate have already met twice this season - West fell at the first FA Cup hurdle on a dire August afternoon at Brookburn Road, but claimed some revenge on the Fylde coast a month later when Saul Henderson's last-minute winner clinched a 1-0 away win.
