The curtain falls on West's turbulent 2018 with the visit of promotion-chasing Runcorn Town.
This has been a year that West fans may wish to forget, at least on the pitch, but it does end with their side on an upward trajectory - the Boxing Day hammering of Abbey Hey was West's third win in four games since the appointment of David Powell. That was a result which winched West out of the Premier Division relegation zone and the hope will be that they can ascend up the table in 2019.

But before West ring in the new year, they must navigate the visit of a Town side who arrive in Manchester after an indifferent run of results. They did see off Whitchurch Alport on Boxing Day, but that was only their second win in seven games - a run which means Town, who currently sit 11 points off top spot, are in danger of falling away from the leading pack after narrowly missing out on promotion last season.
