West v AFC Liverpool

West face another big game at the bottom of the table on Saturday as AFC Liverpool visit Brookburn Road.
This is a fixture which has refused to be played so far this season - a waterlogged pitch postponed the original game at Brookburn Road in November, with the Marine Travel Arena surface returning the favour to scupper the reverse match earlier this month.
If Saturday's game does go ahead, it will be a vital one for both sides - West are four points above the relegation zone following last weekend's draw at home to Abbey Hey, while the Reds are languishing in the drop zone and lie three points adrift of both Abbey and Maine Road. Their mini-revival under joint-managers Stuart Keir and Ben Williams, which included a win at Brantingham Road at the start of February, has stalled in recent weeks, with the Reds losing away to Ashton Athletic and Northwich Victoria.
