Runcorn Town v West
Pavilions, Runcorn, WA7 4ET
£6 adults, £3 concessions, free for accompanied under-16s
West are set to finally get their February underway on Wednesday as they make a belated visit to Pavilions to play Runcorn Town.
After the original fixture was claimed by the weather in January, West will look to avenge September's 4-2 defeat at Brookburn Road by inflicting a fifth successive defeat on the faltering home side.
Last weekend's 2-1 loss to ten-man 1874 Northwich, played at Witton Albion's Wincham Park, was Town's fifth game without a win, and their solitary goal was their first in over six and a half hours of football. After topping the table at Christmas, they lie 22 points off the summit following arch-rivals Runcorn Linnets' win against 1874 on Tuesday. It remains to be seen whether West are visiting Weston Point at the opportune moment or stepping into the wounded animal's lair - Hanley Town were on a similarly poor run before putting six past Steve Settle's side last month.
