Barnoldswick Town v West
Silent Night Stadium, West Close Road, Barnoldswick, BB8 5LJ
£5 adults / £3 concessions / free for under-16s
After a pointless October, West begin a pivotal November with a visit to high-flying Barnoldswick Town.
A run of five straight league defeats last month has left West in a precarious position with only goal difference keeping them above Abbey Hey and out of the relegation zone. But a spirited display against City of Liverpool last time out showed promise, and West will need a repeat performance if they are to take anything away from the trip to East Lancashire.
Matt Barnes' Barlick team have impressed so far this season and were nestled inside the top six as the clocks went back. Their fine start to the season included a stunning 5-1 battering of Runcorn Town and a win at Brookburn Road at the start of October, but they have wobbled of late - a 2-0 reverse at Whitchurch Alport was followed by a heavy four-goal defeat at Bootle last weekend.
