RECREATION GROUND | BROOKBURN ROAD | CHORLTON | M21 8FE

Saturday 17th February 2018 (3pm), NWCFL Premier Division
AFC Darwen v West
The Anchor Ground, Darwen, BB3 0BB
£5 adults, £3 concessions, £1 under-16s
West travel to AFC Darwen on Saturday as they chase a first win at the Anchor Ground and, more importantly, three points that would winch them further away from the drop zone.
Both sides have been scuppered by postponements in recent weeks - both are yet to kick a ball in February, and the Salmoners have seen the last seven Anchor Ground fixtures called off.
Steve Settle will be hoping his side are afforded the opportunity to complete a double over the Salmoners following the 4-1 win at Brookburn Road three weeks ago. Darwen's situation has been critical for a while and they urgently need to arrest a run of 11 straight defeats if they are to attempt a most unlikely of escape acts.
