How we stand

West were successful in Lancashire Challenge Trophy action on Tuesday, but return to the bread-and-butter of the NWCFL looking to maintain their five-point lead at the top of the First Division South.

Stockport Town are beginning to shake off a slow start to the season and currently sit 12th after a run of three consecutive wins. They sit on 23 points after 19 games, having won 7, drawn 2 and lost 10 of their league matches so far.

After playing each First Division South side once in the first half of the season, this will be West's first opportunity to complete a league double. Earlier this campaign, Ben Elliott's goal was enough for three points as West beat the Lions 1-0 at Stockport Sports Village.
