West begin a run of three games in five days with a trip to Staffordshire to face Eccleshall.
While West were inactive last weekend, another unusual fixture arrangement saw FC Isle of Man play on Saturday and Sunday. The Ravens took four points - including three against the Eagles - to cut West's lead to four points. However, Chris Rowley's side have three games in hand, with two of those coming this week.
Eccleshall can count themselves extremely unfortunate to have left Ellan Vannin empty-handed, as the game's solitary goal only arrived once injury to goalkeeper Morgan Chilton had forced an outfield player to take over between the posts.
Liam Kelly's side are one place and six points above the drop zone, but have shown clear signs of improvement of late. Prior to last weekend, they had only lost one game in six - a run that included vital wins against fellow strugglers Abbey Hulton and Alsager.
West were comfortable winners in November's reverse fixture, as Dontai Gabidon, Sam Heathcote, Ben Elliott (2) and Aarron Grewal all scored to sweep aside an Eccleshall side that played the last 37 minutes with ten men.
