With passage to the next round safely secured at the expense of 10 man New Mills, West have now been drawn to face fellow North West Counties Football League Division One South side Alsager Town. While West fought against a valiant Millers side to get to this stage, Alsager received a bye in the first round - and, thus, will be making their seasonal bow in the competition when they visit Brookburn Road for a game currently pencilled in on Saturday 9 November. The previously scheduled game against Sandbach will now be played on a different date.
