RECREATION GROUND | BROOKBURN ROAD | CHORLTON | M21 8FE
We are delighted to announce that Kris Holt has returned to the club. Kris is a central midfielder and was originally signed for West in 2019 by Brad Cooke. Kris captained the side during Brad’s time as manager before leaving West to join Atherton Collieries with Brad in the November of that season. The 29 year old joins us from Widnes in the Northern Premier League and also includes Atherton Collieries, Atherton LR and Bury AFC as some of his former clubs.
Paul Marshall told us, “When we heard Krissy was intrested in coming back to West, we jumped at the opportunity to sign him. He’s a complete midfielder. He’s box to box, has great energy, doesn’t shy away from a tackle and chips in with a goal or two as well. Krissy also has experience of winning this division with some of his previous teams. He is another one who has turned down the opportunity to play higher to join us at West. He is another great signing for the club.”
Kris believes he has unfinished business in M21, “I’m Really looking forward to coming back to West! I wasn’t here as long as I would’ve liked last time so hopefully we can take the next step next season and get promoted. Marshy has already got a really good group together so hopefully it will be an exciting year for everyone involved with the club. I can’t wait to get back amongst it with the fans and get going!”
Welcome back Kris!
