*THIS ITEM HAS BEEN RETURNED*
? Following an extensive rescue operation, the item (seen here, stage left) has been returned. The offender who absconded with it was extremely apologetic, and has been absolved following its return. pic.twitter.com/PCkw2I63RG

The club has been alerted of an incident after last night's game against Trafford (8th October) at The Beech Inn, Chorlton in which an item was taken by a man wearing a West Didsbury & Chorlton scarf. The item was a stuffed toy which holds significant personal value for the staff of the pub, and its return would mean that the matter would not be taken any further. It is understood that the event likely took place in the throes of the evening's festivities, and the presence of a toy maybe have been a source of regret upon finding it this morning. The individual has been identified through CCTV, although The Beech would ideally like to avoid releasing images and have the matter dealt with swiftly.
In the interests of making sure this is safely returned, the club is willing to act as a middleman in order to remove any potential anxiety about having to return to the item: if you are in possession of it, please email thebeech@wdcfc.co.uk and we'll arrange the safe return.
If you would prefer to do this in person, The Beech can be found at 72 Beech Rd, Manchester M21 9EG, can be phoned on 0161 862 9743, or can be contacted via Facebook.
