RECREATION GROUND | BROOKBURN ROAD | CHORLTON | M21 8FE
We are excited to announce that Jordan Lazenbury will be joining the club ahead of the 2024/25 season. The 28 year old forward scored 24 goals for Cheadle Town last season and has 73 goals in 144 appearances in his last 3 years of NWCFL Football.
Jordan started off his footballing career at Fleetwood Town. He then moved to Stockport County and Hyde United before joining Abbey Hey and then Cheadle Town in the NWCFL. He is excited to make the move, telling us, “I’m buzzing to join. I’ve played against West over the last few years and I have always admired the community feel of the club and the fanbase speaks for itself. When Marshy and Yarwood asked me to come with them it was a no-brainer. The squad is coming together nicely and we want to give the fans something to shout about. I can’t wait to get going and to meet everyone involved at West!”
Paul Marshall and Steve Yarwood were excited to be able to secure Jordan’s services for next season. They told us, “We’re buzzing to be able to bring Jordan with us to the club. He’s a great lad and he never misses a match or training session. He has always provided the team with plenty of goals and assists and we’re confident he’ll do the same at West.”
Welcome to West, Jordan!
