We are pleased to announce that Jimmy Moore has signed for West. The 36 year old centre back has had multiple league wins and trophies at our level. Last season he won the league at Wythenshawe FC. Before that he was playing for Bury FC, Atherton Collieries, Trafford and Runcorn Linnets, winning four trophies in the last five seasons.

Jimmy has gained a reputation for his tough tackles and putting his body on the line every week and he’s excited to do the same for West next season, telling us, “I have always looked at West as one of the better clubs at this level. The fanbase speaks for itself and I’m really looking forward to getting to know the supporters. The opportunity to come and join at such an exciting time was something I really wanted to be a part of. The squad is really coming together and it promises to be a good year!”

Paul Marshall believes Jimmy will have a big impact on the team next season, “When Jimmy said he would join, we knew we were starting to build a squad that has a good chance of competing this season. He is a born leader and he will be a big help to myself in keeping the standards high in training and in games. Like others, he has turned down attractive offers from higher up the pyramid to play for West. Jimmy knows what it means to be in a successful team, pushing at the top end of the table so we are really happy to get him on board.”
