FA VASE DRAW | WEST TRAVEL TO LOWER BRECK

West will return to FA Vase action on Saturday 1st September when West make their first ever visit to newly promoted NWCFL side Lower Breck in the First Qualifying Round.

It will be Lower Breck’s first ever FA Vase tie, a competition West first entered themselves in 2011, to accompany their maiden NWCFL season having been promoted from the Liverpool County Premier League last season as invincible champions.

10-man West defeat Stockport Town with last minute winner

The winners of the tie will face Stockport Town at home on Saturday 15th September in the second qualifying round.

It was a brief albeit exciting FA Vase venture last season which began with an unforgettable day at the seaside when West ran out 6-1 winners thanks in part to a Tom Bailey hat-trick. A thrilling last gasp 4-3 home victory at home to Stockport Town followed; a match in which West were forced to play much of the game with 10 men.

West will be hoping to at least match their performance of last year when they reached the 1st Round Proper for the fourth straight season before bowing out to Northern League side West Auckland Town.
