Match Preview
West host Barnoldswick Town on Saturday following a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Prestwich Heys on Tuesday night.
That loss meant that West approach this game in 14th with a seven-point gap between themselves and the play-off places. Opponents Barlick sit three places below West in 17th after rallying well following a run of three defeats to kickstart the 25/26 season.
Saturday's visitors have accumulated eight points from as many league games this season, and picked up their league wins against Litherland REMYCA and Euxton Villa. They are winless in three, however, and lost 3-0 to Wythenshawe last weekend following draws against Pilkington and Prestwich Heys.
The main man to watch from Barlick appears to be Kuda Chingwaro, who has found the net seven times already this season.
West may give home debuts to new signings Ryan Usher and Calum McGlynn, who both joined the club shortly before the trip to Prestwich - albeit McGlynn had a short spell at West last season and made two substitute appearances.
