A sensational comeback earned West a famous win and 3 important points.
Paul Marshall made four changes from the goalless draw at home to Abbey Hey the week before, as Harvey Roberts, Finley Holyoak and Connor Hughes came in, while Jake Kenny and Lewis Billingsley moved to the bench and Adam Jones wasn't in the matchday group.
Joe Lawlor returned to Wythenshawe Town after his one-game spell in goal, with Jack Atkinson starting between the sticks after joining on a dual-registration from Vauxhall Motors.
Colne made an early breakthrough through Jude Entwistle on 12 minutes, soon doubling the lead through ex-West player Matt Argent-Barnes on 21 before a stunning strike from Jack Holt made it 3-0 with less than half an hour gone.
West made tactical and personnel changes, which bore fruit as Andy Briggs pulled one back just before the hour.
West smelled blood and Victor Abadaki - continuing his prolific run from the bench - added a chaotic brace to level the scores at 3-3 and set up a grandstand finish.
With injury time ticking away, captain Jimmy Moore stepped forward to control a Colne clearance and sent a howitzer screaming into the Colne net from 35 yards to send West supporters into raptures.
It was the first time in our NWCFL history that we've won from 3-0 down and the victory also extended our unbeaten run at Brookburn Road to seven.
