Come and be part of the team providing a quality match day experience at one of the best supported clubs in the Country playing at Step 9 in the Football Pyramid.

West Didsbury and Chorlton AFC have a number of volunteering opportunities available for first team Men’s and Women’s matches for season 2022/23. These are:
 

Men’s Match Days:

Setting up the ground, bars and outside catering.
 
Times required 11.30 – 1.30 Saturdays and 5.30 – 7.30 Tuesday evening.
 
Supervising access to the ground and managing cars on Brookburn Road. Times required 1.15 – 3.15 Saturdays and 6.15 – 8.00 Tuesday evenings.
 
Supervising the car parking facility at Hardy Farm car park Times required 1.15 – 3.15 Saturdays and 6.15 – 8.00 Tuesday evenings.
 
General stewarding of matches  Times required 2.30 – 5.15 Saturdays and 7.15  – 9.45 Tuesdays.
 
Women’s Match Days:
 
General stewards where the role would include Collecting admission donations, Supervising car parking, Crowd Stewarding Times required Sundays 1.00 – 4.30.
 
Full training for all these roles, free admission to the games covered and refreshments provided and where appropriate travel expenses covered.
 
The aim of the club is to have a pool of people who can work with us so whilst we will prioritise applications from people who could cover all, or the majority of our matches, we also welcome applications from people who could cover a smaller number of the roles.
