Harry Cain signs for West

Chris Rowley has strengthened his attacking options by signing forward Harry Cain, who arrives on dual registration from 1874 Northwich.

Cain, part of the successful 1874 side over the last two seasons, goes straight into Rowley’s thinking for tonight’s Manchester Premier Cup tie at home to Hyde United.

He also counts Sandbach United, Nantwich Town and Prescot Cables among his former clubs.

West boss Rowley said: “Harry is a player I’ve wanted to bring to West ever since I took over. I’ve previously worked with him when he was younger and he was in the same successful youth team as both Sam Heathcote and Rhain Davis. He already knows a lot of the squad, and therefore I know he will fit right in and add another great option to our forward line.”

Welcome to West, Harry!
