Thank you to everyone who attended last night’s Community Bonfire and Firework Display at The Step Places Stadium. After being forced to cancel 2020’s event, we were thrilled to open our doors to the wider South Manchester community again for what is one of the most eagerly-anticipated dates on the West calendar. This year’s edition must go down as the best yet as we welcomed 1,500 people to Brookburn Road.

We’d also like to thank all attendees for helping us to ensure that the event went smoothly, and a special mention to our volunteers for their work behind the scenes and around the ground. Thanks also to the organisations and vendors involved in the event, including Chorlton Fireworks, Rosgal, Il Forno, El’s Kitchen, The Spice Yard, Nuala Speciality Coffees & Cakes and our face-painter from Physical Graffiti and children’s Zumba instructor Charlotte Searle.

We look forward to seeing you at next year’s display, as well as at our next home game – tomorrow night against Cheadle Town.
