Chris Rowley takes his West side on the road for the first time as they head east to face Stockport Town.

After Tuesday’s eventful 2-1 win over Wythenshawe Amateurs secured the first three points of the new era, this final game before Christmas represents a first opportunity of the season for West to register a league double after the 1-0 home win over the Lions in August.

The midweek win over the Ammies moved West back into the top six, and while the table may still have an uneven look with West having so many games in hand, Rowley will be mindful of the need to ensure the top four do not disappear too far into the distance.

Stockport Town have steadily improved after failing to win any of their first four games – they were edged out by Wythenshawe Town on Monday night but have installed themselves in the top half of the table and will be looking to see where a strong first half of 2020 takes them.
