We are happy to confirm that our annual Traditional Bonfire Night will return once more this year, taking place on Sunday 3rd November. Following the roaring success of last year’s celebrations, this is a date in the calendar that the club always looks forward to and we cannot wait to welcome down the wider community to Brookburn Road to enjoy the festivities this time out. This will be the only bonfire event we will be hosting at the club this year, and we look forward to welcoming the wider South Manchester community down to the Recreation ground once more.

In order to make the event a success, we require volunteers both ahead of the day and during the course of the bonfire, too. Our most pressing need is for stewards and bar staff amongst others on the day. If you could help, we’ll make sure you get fed and watered, as well as getting free entry to the event and to a West game of your choice, too.

As ever, we will be holding both a bonfire and a fireworks display, with the clubhouse open throughout the evening serving refreshments – including snacks, hot food and drink. There will also be food vendors and other amenities, to be confirmed in the coming week. We look forward to welcoming you.

Buying tickets in advance is advised – once advance tickets have sold out, we will be unable to allow people to pay on the day. In the event of extreme weather and the event being rescheduled, tickets would be valid for the re-arranged date.
