After a disappointing trip to Avro on the weekend, West have licked their wounds and they are ready to put things right, in a second away league fixture on the bounce.
 Tuesday 8th November 2022, 7.45pm
 NWCFL Premier Division
Silentnight Stadium, Greenberfield Lane, Barnoldswick, BB18 5LJ
 £7 / £3 / Under 16’s £1 / Under 12’s Free
 Colne (5.8 miles)
Chris Rowley and his side will no doubt be desperate to get back to winning ways after two extremely frustrating 3-0 losses in the league to Bury AFC and Avro. It was clear from those two matches that the strong start that West enjoyed this season counts for nothing, as they get deeper into this campaign. Despite these losses against two extremely strong sides, West still sit at a more than respectable 9th place in the table and they are desperate to build on this as they continue adapting to the league, hopefully starting with a victory in this tie.
In regard to team news and updates, Ben Hampson will be assessed after he left the pitch early against Avro with a suspected broken nose and goalkeeper AJ will also be looked at, after he struggled through last weekend’s loss.
Like West, the hosts Barnoldswick Town, have also not tasted victory in their last two, but they are coming into this one off the back of an impressive 1-1 home draw to a high-flying Vauxhall Motors side. They are currently occupying 17th place in the table as they have experienced a mixed bag of results so far this season.
The last fixture between these two sides came back in 2018 and it ended with victory to the home side, so West will be hoping for better fortunes this time out as they look to get back to winning ways.
We hope to see you there in your numbers getting behind the team and giving them your full support, as we look for a change of fortunes on the road. Come on West!
