FA Cup, FA Vase & FA Youth Cup opponents revealed

Following an announcement by the FA, West can now confirm our opening games in both the Emirates FA Cup and the Buildbase FA Vase.

West have been drawn to play Athersley Recreation in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup. This game is scheduled to be played on Saturday 5th August.

Should we progress, our opponents in the preliminary round of the FA Cup will be away at Northwich Victoria or 1874 Northwich, with that game scheduled to take place on Saturday 19th August.

Our opponents for the first qualifying round of the FA Vase will be away at AFC Blackpool, with the fixture slated for Saturday 9 September. Our opposition in the next round, should we progress, would be Northwich Victoria or Stockport Town at home in a game scheduled for Saturday 23rd September.

The club have also entered into the FA Youth Cup, and the draw sees us facing up against Warrington Town at home on w/c September 4th, and then – subject to progression – Colne at home on w/c 18 September.
