Chorlton & Didsbury Foodbank Collection

At Saturday's match against Tividale, we collected donations in support of the Chorlton & Didsbury Foodbank. 

The collection was a huge success, and we'd like to thank all supporters who donated. We received a huge amount of food, which we'll deliver to the foodbank early next week.

The Chorlton & Didsbury Foodbank provide a vital service to our community, and we're delighted that so many of our supporters were able to contribute. 

In addition, every member of our playing and coaching staff contributed very generously - with special thanks to Scott Johnston, who donated ten individual packs made up for families - each containing a blanket, baby wipes, toothpaste & toothbrush, biscuits, juice, water, shower gel and coffee - a lovely gesture that will be hugely appreciated.

The picture below shows donations before 2pm today. By the end of the afternoon we'd received several times more food and other items requested by the Chorlton & Didsbury Foodbank.
