Our opponents in the opening rounds of the 2021/22 FA Cup, FA Vase and FA Youth Cup have been revealed.

We’ll face old Manchester League sparring partners Avro in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup, with the game scheduled to take place at The Step Places Stadium on Saturday 7th August.

As previously communicated, this will replace our NWCFL First Division South home game against New Mills, originally scheduled for the same date.

Should we prevail, we’ll then host Northern Premier League Division One side, and recent NWCFL champions, Runcorn Linnets on Saturday 21st August in the Preliminary Round.

In the FA Vase First Qualifying Round, our opponents come from further afield – we welcome Wakefield outfit Nostell Miners Welfare to M21 on Saturday 11th September.

There’s more white rose opposition in store should we progress, with a Second Qualifying Round home tie against either Humber United or Parkgate on Saturday 25th September the prize.

Finally, we have entered a team into the FA Youth Cup – we will be at home to Southport in the week commencing Monday 30th August, with the winners hosting Prescot Cables or Buxton in the week commencing Monday 13th September.
