WDC Wildcats were privileged guests at Step Places Stadium today to see the women’s first team in action, and even get involved.

The girls had their session as normal up on Hardy Farm, where they continue to ramp up their footballing skills, passion and knowledge.

We finished up a little earlier than normal and made our way down to the Step Places Stadium, where we were welcomed out onto the pitch to have a play around alongside both the home and away teams whilst they were warming up.

The girls got to showcase their skills in front of their families and many West fans, who all seemed excited to be able to watch the action at Brookburn Road again.

The relationship between our women’s teams and the Wildcats will continue and grow as we begin to develop a full junior girls section of the club in the future.
