New Signing Announcement | Rebecca Foster To Join West Women

West Women are delighted to announce the signing of former Bolton Ladies Captain, Rebecca Foster. A midfielder by trade, Foster has previously played for FC United and is a regular face against West over the years.

Speaking at the time of her signing, Rebecca said:

“I am excited to be signing for West and to be part of their plans. The set up of the club, the professionalism and the top quality coaching is what attracted me to them and is something I am excited to be part of.

I have already settled in well and the players seem great, there is a lot of potential at this club and helping the team get to where they should be is my main focus.

It’s great to be back enjoying football and at a club that has the same ambitions as I do. The club seems to be a perfect fit for me.”

First team manager Nathan Soulby is delighted with the latest addition:

“We were well aware of Rebecca’s quality when we first knew of her interest, however I couldn’t help but be impressed even further when she came through the door.

Her application to football is top drawer on and off the pitch, and she has all the qualities we want to add to the existing group. I’m really excited to see how she grows as a player at West, and how that will positively impact our ambitions as a club.”
