West Didsbury & Chorlton complete their pre-season calendar with a trip to the Stockport Sports Village where they face Stockport Town on Saturday 15th July, 3pm KO.
The two sides meet for the second time having played last pre-season in which an experimental West side ran out 1-0 winners on a cold night at Lambeth Grove. The game was more memorial for West’s named line-up in which they named a team of trialists… and Steve Brockley in lieu of a team sheet.

Stockport Town were amongst the First Division’s leading goalscorer’s last season scoring 92 goals on their way to a 10th place finish in spite of manager Calum Sykes moving mid-way through the season to join New Mills.
New Manager Dave Wild steered the Lions to a late push towards the play offs, failing just short, but the former Maine Road assistant manager has already established his side amongst the promotion favourite with several astute signings.
