West Didsbury & Chorlton can confirm their first two fixtures of their 2018 pre-season campaign when they will welcome Clitheroe and Ashton United to Brookburn Road.
West will welcome 1992 NWCFL Division One Champions Ashton United to the Recreation Ground on Saturday 14th July, 3pm, armed with several faces familiar to West.
The Robins are coming off a fantastic season which saw them promoted to the Conference North via the play-offs beating Grantham 2-0. Their promotion was helped in part by former West winger Nic Evangelinos who joined the club bid way through the season. In addition the season saw goalkeeper Jon Ollerenshaw, Lanre Olapde, Cavell Coo, Saul Henderson and John Pritchard making appearances for both clubs.
The game will take place on Saturday 14th July, 3pm KO with admission prices to be confirmed.
West will also welcome another former NWCFL Champion to Brookburn Road on July 31st, 7.15pm KO as they welcome 2004 Champions.
Prior to that they’d been one of the original founding members of the NWCFL until they were promoted in 2004 and have been an ever present in the Evo-Stik League since finishing the 2017/18 season off with a 12th place finish in the Division One North.
The game will take place on Tuesday 31st July, at the slightly earlier than normal midweek kick off time of 7:15pm.
