New pies at Brookburn Road
While there may be a few new faces on the pitch for tomorrow’s visit of Trafford, there’s certain to be a couple of new signings who are certain to be making a name for themselves in the clubhouse. While our old team were consistent and much loved, the club has decided to try taking things in a different direction: we’ve brought in new pie supplier – and new varieties of pies.
Jones Pies will be supplying food for tomorrow’s friendly game and – subject to maintaining the high performance levels set by their predecessor – will be a fixture in the club for the foreseeable future.

We asked on Twitter for which varieties you would most like to be stocked in the clubhouse, and we’re happy to reveal the results. Chunky Steak (3rd placed, “British beef, slow cooked until tender, in our hot water crust pastry.“), Chicken Curry (2nd, “Tender chicken pieces with spices blended in Bradford to Chef Barrington of Hudderfield’s recipe.“) and Meat & Potato (1st, in a landslide “British Beef and potatoes in Jones’s original gravy in our hot water crust pastry.“) will all be on offer – as well as a Cheese and Onion roll.
