MATCH PREVIEW | Padiham v West
Saturday 17th March 2018 (3pm), NWCFL Premier Division
Padiham v West
Arbories Memorial Sports Ground, Well Street, Padiham, BB12 8LE
£6 adults, £3 concessions
A trip to east Lancashire is next on the agenda for West as they aim to extend their unbeaten run.
Tuesday’s hard-fought draw at home to Hanley Town was West’s fourth game without defeat, a run which has created daylight between Steve Settle’s side and the sharp end of the table. A win against Padiham would be a significant fillip as West look to end the season strongly and secure a top-half finish.
Padiham have endured miserable luck with postponements recently – the cancellation of Tuesday’s game at Congleton Town was their fifth postponement in a row and their eighth in ten games. The Storks haven’t played since an impressive 2-1 win at home to Charnock Richard on 24th February.
