Junior Takeover Day | West vs Ashton Athletic, Saturday 27 April

On *Saturday 27th April* the Junior section of West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC will be literally “taking over the club”. For the visit of Ashton Athletic (kick off 3pm) boys and girls from the Juniors will be running every element of the match day experience – except actually playing the match and serving the beer!

From 2pm fans arriving will be greeted by West’s Juniors at the gate; Juniors will be selling sweets and pop, half time draw tickets and scarves and hats; there’ll be a whole team of match day mascots; young voices on the match day tannoy; a cohort of ball boys as well as kids on the pitch for a penalty shoot-out at half time. They will also be helping take donations for Barakah Food Aid, a local foodbank which helps those experiencing food poverty – you can find out more about them here. We’ll be putting out a list of suggested donations later in the week.

The club will still require volunteers to help sell beers around the ground – if you could lend a hand, please get in touch below.
